A Black and White day
Yesterday (Saturday), I went to Bethnal Green (again) to see more of the area. It's definitely still an up-and-coming place...a bit rough around the edges with corners, bridge underpasses and alleyways that you don't want to hang around too late after sunset - well at least not when I'm about with my see-in-the-dark Df...

The second photo is really superb, Kesh. It invokes conflicting emotions: on the one hand the arm and leg make you curious about the person behind the tree, on the other hand the tree provides a degree of security should the person turn out to be unsavoury.

ReplyDeleteInitially I took this photo in landscape orientation but there was a bit of trash/debris that I couldn't remove at the time due to the risk of being detected.
I took the photo anyway but once home I decided that the tree lent itself to a vertical orientation.
As for security, I was with my friend Chloe who has a black belt in Architecture (like you) and in fast talking :-)
